From the employers perspective you are there to train, to help, and to add value to the business, so they won’t be as concerned with making sure you are perfectly happy and fulfilled in your goals as much as they are focused on business success. You need to prove yourself in any business, regardless of what field. (plus you are in France, so what did you expect?). I hope you will just finish this gig, and you will be able to look back on it as a good experience that you completed. I hope you will come to the US and do a great apprenticeship here….I will introduce you to some great restaurant owners if you do, and you can get more international experience to see if you want to stay in the industry here.
